Last week’s training video was about the Sales Order module. If you look right below that one in Boxstorm, you will find this week’s subject: the Customers module. This module lets you get a quick view of your customers by name along with their assigned sales representative, email address, and phone number. You can also check out their history to see when they were first added to the system and what changes have been made to their account over the years.
It’s possible to add both companies and people as customers. This is important because sometimes you may be in a position where you are selling to private individuals while at other times you are selling to corporate entities or to employees within those corporations, and you need to be able to organize them all.
