Did you know that you can set up user permissions in Boxstorm Ultimate? This is important because it helps you keep your sensitive data secure and only allow authorized personnel to view information related to their jobs.
In the Boxstorm interface, click the Company module group and then click the Permissions module below that. The first time you open this module, you’ll probably find a single user permission group called “Full Access.” That is the default access level for an administrator.
To create another group with different access rights, click the green New button at the top. A popup window will appear, asking you to name the new permission group. You can also provide a description, like “For salespeople only” or “Sales orders, purchase orders, and vendors” or something like that. On the right side of the window, you will see a list of users that you can assign to the group.
Click the Permissions tab to bring up a list of all of the module features you can grant access to. You can click various checkboxes to let users in this group create, edit, delete, and/or view:
In addition, there are dozens of reports you can make available to users – too many to list here. They involve many vital warehouse functions, such as cycle counts, barcodes, purchase orders, sales orders, picking, items, and vendors.
